2010 was a historic year for healthcare – and for The Carle Foundation.

As our nation worked to reform the healthcare system at large, Carle focused on our mission to advance healthcare here at home. We became an integrated delivery system, bringing together a hospital, physician group and insurance provider to offer a coordinated network of services. And we held steadfast in our commitment to the people we serve.

In this report, you’ll read about how we invested in community benefit programs, exceeded national quality benchmarks, and provided more free and discounted care than ever before. You’ll read about our designation as a Primary Stroke Center and our research partnership with the University of Illinois.
